Field Editor Bruce Letbetter was born and raised in South Central
Texas. His hunting
passion is Archery, with over 20 years experience. He is very
technical when it comes to Archery. If it's broke he can fix it, if
its new he can set it up and tune it. Bruce competes in several 3D
competitions every year just to keep sharp during the off season and
has numerous 1st place finishes and countless top 3 finishes. He has
hunted Elk and Mule Deer in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New
Mexico and Whitetails from Texas to Canada. Bruce has taken over a
dozen Pope &
Young class Whitetails over the years, a record that is a testament
to the preparation he puts into every hunt.

Field Editor Michael Kennedy grew up in Maine and New Hampshire,
where he was weaned on the monster whitetail of the Northeast. After taking a hiatus from hunting that was “way too long” in order
to pursue school and his career, Michael got back into the swing of
things in the mid-1990s and has never looked back. While living in
the mountains of Colorado, he rekindled his passion to hunt by
stalking elk and mule deer in the Rawah Wilderness and Roosevelt
National Forrest. He is an ardent bow-hunter for whitetail, elk and hogs, but also
enjoys the predatory pursuit of just about anything that runs, flies
or swims by whatever means are legally allowed.
