Editor Tyge Floyd at the "office" in the treetops of Northeastern New Mexico.

Growing up in the outdoors, Sky has grown to love everything that being an outdoorsman is about.  Sky has also grown a passion for filming and writing about his experiences hunting and fishing.  This has become a way of life for Sky and he will continue to pursue the dream for the rest of his life.

There is only one word that can be used to describe the Editor and founder of TexasOutdoorsman.com when it comes to how he feels about his favorite pastime, spending time outdoors; Passionate. Tyge comes by his infectious love of the outdoors naturally. A life-long Texan, raised in rural North Central Texas, he has spent just about every hour he possibly could growing up either hunting or fishing. Tyge has over 25 years of outdoor experiences he enjoys sharing with friends and clients. He is a former outfitter, avid bow hunter for over 20 years, web site designer, Outdoor Industry Marketing Consultant, professional outdoor video producer and published outdoor writer. Tyge has been fortunate enough to have hunted or fished for big game species in 12 US states and well as in Mexico, Canada and Africa.
